The coin depicts Liberty walking through a Los Angeles incinerator with her clothes charred. With his outstretched right hand, he unsuccessfully sprinkles the fire, but it is already fully ignited and nothing stands in its way.
The fires of January 2025 claimed at least 29 lives, a total of 200,000 residents were evacuated and more than 10,000 houses were completely or partially destroyed.
This silver coin is sure to be appreciated by every silver coin collector, but not everyone will find it. The new 1oz American Eagle collector's edition will only be released in a limited run of 100 worldwide.
The coin is traditionally lined with the inscription "LIBERTY".
