The latest silver Dia De Muertos (Dia De Los Muertos). The figure of death is here in an embrace with a dog (wolf). In Mexican mythology and traditions, a dog (especially the hairless Xoloitzcuintli) is often considered a guide of souls to the underworld (Mictlán). The wolf or dog serves here as a protector or mystical companion in the realm of the dead.

The other side of the coin shows a blue full moon. Although the scene is dark, floral motifs (large orange roses) and small skulls appear on it, reminding us that this is still a motif associated with death, cemeteries and the aesthetics of the Day of the Dead, albeit in a darker and more gothic version.

This beautiful coin is refined with black ruthenium, comes with a wooden case with a thematic sleeve and a certificate of authenticity.
