The Dutch post-impressionist VanGogh painted this picture during his stay at the Saint Remy sanatorium. The night sky is a field of stormy energy. The village under the exploding stars is a place of order. This connection between heaven and earth brings a special energy.
The coin is colored on one side, the uncolored side bears the image of an eagle swooping into its nest, along with other information about the coin.
This rare and unique piece comes in a clear acrylic protective capsule and velvet box, all together with a certificate of authenticity.
Note: The coloring/plating of this piece was done by an experienced third party, not the US Mint. The coin no longer bears the hallmarks of legal tender.
