The year 2026 is a unique “coincidence” of anniversaries in numismatics:
250 years of the USA (Semiquincentennial – anniversary of independence).
40 years of the Silver Eagle (anniversary of the coin itself).
The fact that you have the inscription “40th Anniversary” on the label makes it a targeted collector's item for those who have been collecting the American Eagle series since 1986.
NGC TOP POP Certification:
MS70 (Mint State 70): This is the highest possible grade of preservation. This means that the coin is absolutely perfect even when magnified 5x. It has no scratches, manufacturing defects, or signs of handling. This means that these perfectly minted coins have ZERO imperfections - displaying all features and fields exactly as the engraver and mint intended.

Design:
Obverse: The classic “Walking Liberty” by Adolph A. Weinman - represents the personification of Liberty, a symbol of the United States and liberation, walking with the attributes of peace: an olive branch and a torch. Under her feet we see the US Capitol with a sunrise in the background. It is interesting that 2026 is a jubilee year.
Reverse: Since 2021, the new “Eagle Landing” design by Emily Damstra has been used. In addition to the bird, we also see one of the slogans from the Declaration of Independence: “E pluribus unum”.
