The Royal Tudor Beasts The Queen's Lion 2026 UK 1oz Silver Proof coin is part of The Royal Tudor Beasts collector's series minted by The Royal Mint.
The reverse features an interpretation of the Queen's Lion by collector's artist David Lawrence. The Queen's Lion was chosen by Henry VIII to represent and legitimise his claim to the English throne.
Created in collaboration with experts from Historic Royal Palaces, the coin is accompanied by a case that details the heraldry of Henry VIII and is inspired by the stone statue of the Queen's Beast guarding the bridge over the moat at Hampton Court Palace.
The coin weighs 31.1g and is made from .999 Ag fine silver
