The American Eagle coin is the most popular silver coin struck by the United States Mint. The new reverse shows an eagle with outstretched wings perched on a branch. In addition to the bird, we also see one of the slogans from the Declaration of Independence: "E pluribus unum". The obverse remained the same - it represents the personification of Liberty, the symbol of the United States and liberation, walking with the attributes of peace: an olive branch and a torch. Below her feet we see the US Congress building with the sunrise in the background.
