In 2014, The Perth Mint issued its first ever obsolete coin from the Gods of Olympus series. The coins were incredibly popular and sold out immediately. As a tribute to the product that popularized the antique finish, the iconic Hera design returned in 2021 with a dual release of The Perth Mint in 1 oz and 5 oz silver in BU!
The reverse features image of Aphrodite with dolphins and birds holdings mirror in her left hand. The coin shows the inscription APHRODITE and the Perth Mint mark "P". The obverse depicts an image of Queen Elizabeth II, the denomination and the date the coin was struck.
The coin is legal tender of Tuvalu.
