This unique 2025 edition coin is struck from pure silver of .9999 fineness, weighing 1 troy ounce, in proof standard and with a limited mintage of 5,000 pieces. The coin was produced by Australia's oldest mint, The Perth Mint, on behalf of Tuvalu, making the government of Tuvalu the guarantor of this issue.
Obverse of the coin features the portrait of King Charles III, designed by Jody Clark, along with the nominal value of the coin.
Reverse depicts Jimi Hendrix performing at a concert, holding a guitar in his characteristic dynamic pose. The reverse also features the inscription "JIMI HENDRIX". The reverse was designed by Wade Robinson.
