Jason and Medea are depicted on the reverse of the coin. Medea, a powerful sorceress, initially helps Jason out of love and uses her magic to help him secure the Fleece and escape. Their story takes a dark turn after Jason's betrayal.
On the obverse we can find the denomination, the issuing country, the year of issue and the fineness of the coin.
The coin has a beautiful design with high relief and selective gilding. It comes in a gorgeous wooden case along with a certificate of authenticity.
