The obverse side shows the effigy of King Charles III. Great Britain, inscribed "CHARLES III∙D∙G∙REX∙F∙D" and denomination and year, designed by Martin Jennings.
The reverse side of the coin contains the initials of King Charles III in the central part. - "CR III" and the saint's crown. Edward and the oak and delphinium leaves. On the reverse is the inscription "HIS MAJESTY KING CHARLES III", "1948-2023". Dan Thorne is responsible for the reverse design.
