Sean Connery, at least subjectively for Silvermania.cz, was the main figure who made James Bond the legend he is today. In the story of producers Cubby Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, who acquired the rights to Ian Fleming's Bonds in 1961, Agent 007 immediately created one of the cinema's most famous characters.

Connery's style and charisma have significantly contributed to the success of subsequent films, such as From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever. This was followed by five other actors, each of whom brought his own unique perspective to the character.

This coin celebrates Connery as the first and for many fans a unique Bond.
