1 oz American Silver Eagle 2021 Type 2 Apmex (MD Premier + PCGS FirstStrike®)
2021 American Eagles
The United States Mint has introduced a new reverse design for the 2021 Silver Eagles on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle Coin program. AIP designer Emily Damstra has created a new Silver Eagle design for 2021, created by coin medalist Michael Gaudioso. The new design of the silver eagle depicts an eagle arriving on landing and carrying an oak branch in its claws, as if to add it to the nest.
In honor of the 35th anniversary of the American Eagles, for the first time since their 1986 introduction, the Gold and Silver Eagles are receiving an updated design mid-year 2021. This introduction comes at a time of unparalleled demand for bullion, which has led to a very limited supply of coins available. Act now to add the first issue of the new design to your collection!
Only coins received in the first 30 days of release from U.S.Mint are eligible for the MintDirect® Premier designation. This provides assurance that these 1 oz Silver American Eagle coins are among the best struck releases of the year.
Professional Coin Grading Service (known as PCGS) has partnered with APMEX. PCGS is one of the most trusted names in numismatics, to further enhance the MintDirect® Premier program. This partnership with PCGS allows to use MintDirect® Premier with PCGS FirstStrike® 2022 Silver Czech Lion.
