The United States Mint has introduced a new reverse design for the 2021 Silver Eagles on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle Coin program. AIP designer Emily Damstra has created a new Silver Eagle design for 2021, created by coin medalist Michael Gaudioso. The new design of the silver eagle depicts an eagle arriving on landing and carrying an oak branch in its claws, as if to add it to the nest.

In honor of the 35th anniversary of the American Eagles, for the first time since their 1986 introduction, the Gold and Silver Eagles are receiving an updated design mid-year 2021. This introduction comes at a time of unparalleled demand for bullion, which has led to a very limited supply of coins available. Act now to add the first issue of the new design to your collection!
