The reverse of the coin features a beautifully detailed koala, depicted in a super scalloped design that emphasizes its deep low relief. The intricate background features native Australian flora, giving the coin an original charm. Above the inscription: "KOALA" - the name of the animal. At the bottom, the inscription: "AUSTRALIA" - issuing country. On the left side the inscription: "1 oz 999 PURE SILVER" - indicating the weight and purity of the silver.
The obverse shows the portrait of Charles III. together with the inscriptions: "CHARLES III" - the name of the monarch, "NIUE" - the issuing country, "TWO DOLLARS" - the face value and "2025" - the year of issue.
