This poem tells the story of Una, a virtuous girl who undertakes a dangerous quest to free her parents' kingdom from the tyranny of an evil dragon. Una symbolizes truth and innocence, while the lion represents divine inspiration. The design is meant to evoke the themes of faith, courage and the power of divine intervention. On the reverse also the inscriptions: "MMXXIV" - the year of issue and "UNA & THE LION" - the name of the coin.
